Day 01: Tokyo

Welcome to Japan! Touching down at Narita International Airport, you will be greeted by our driver, who will safely transfer you to your accommodations.

Day 02:  Tokyo

Ready to explore more of Japan? Our day’s excursion kicks off with a visit to Sensoji Temple, one of Japan's most colorful and oldest Buddhist temples. Afterwards, take your time exploring Nakamise Street, a popular 250-meter shopping street in Asakusa packed with shops selling traditional Japanese souvenirs, snacks, and sweets that are a feast for your senses.

Then enjoy our photo stops at the iconic Sky Tree, a broadcasting and observation tower; Ueno Park, one of Japan's five oldest public parks, best known for many museums and spectacular cherry blossoms in the spring; and the famous Shibuya Crossing. We will also make a stop at the famous Hachiko Statue before heading back to the hotel to end the day.

Day 03:  Tokyo

Today, get ready to explore Odaiba, Tokyo Bay, a man-made island filled with shopping and entertainment districts. Then, on our next stop, let your inner child out as we visit the famous life-size statue of the iconic Gundam. After the memorable experience at the park, we will make our way to a historical visit to the most famous place in Japan, the Meiji Shrine, which is a shrine to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken. Enjoy the incredible architecture and scenic grounds this treasure has to offer.

A trip to Tokyo wouldn't be complete without a stop at Harajuku and Omotesando, two of the city's most fashionable streets. Fill your eyes and bags with all the things Japanese you can purchase during this stop.

Day 04:  Tokyo  – Fuji – Osaka

If the weather permits, the fourth day of our Japan adventure will begin with a train ride to Fujinomiya 5th Station. Enjoy a scenic view of Mt. Fuji as we take a walk inside the Oshino Hakkai villages, known for their eight ponds fed by snowmelt. In one of the ponds, you may have the experience of drinking clean, fresh spring water directly from its source.

After seeing the view of Mt. Fuji for ourselves, we will go to Gotemba Factory, one of Japan's biggest shopping centers, for more shopping. We hope you are excited to visit this 290-store mall!

The long stretch of walking around the mall must be tedious, but don’t worry. Take your time to rest your feet after the long walk as we take a 4-hour Shinkansen ride to Osaka. Marvel at the scenic window view as we ride the famous bullet train.

For dinner, get a taste of authentic Osaka’s delectable cuisine as we have our meal at a local restaurant in the area. Afterwards, check in at the hotel to rest and prepare for another day.

Day 05: Osaka

The morning in Osaka begins with an exploration of the five-story Osaka Castle. Here, discover one of Japan's most well-known sites while admiring the beautiful and intricately designed architecture. Then, we will head on to the ancient and well-known Tsutenkaku Tower. This also has observation decks from which you can get a panoramic bird's-eye perspective of the city.

After lunch, we'll travel to Nara, where we will visit the renowned Nara Deer Park. In Japan, deer are considered messengers of the gods, so what could be more meaningful than seeing and feeding them in real life? We will not let you miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Then, after an interactive experience at the park, we will head to Todaiji Temple, the historical landmark of Nara that is home to one of the biggest bronze Buddha statues in Japan.

On the way back to Osaka, where we will stay for the night, we will stop by the busy streets of Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, which are filled with bright lights and festive ambiance, for the best shopping and eating experiences you can have in the city.

Day 06: Osaka

This day is dedicated for you to discover the charm of rural Japan—Kyoto.

Our Kyoto adventure begins with a visit to the Kyoto Kiyomizudera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its wooden stage, from which visitors can see a kaleidoscope of cherry blossom and maple tree hues.

Following that, we will then explore the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, where you can explore the shrine buildings, mountain trails. You may also take a walk along the thousands of torii gates.

A Japanese experience is not complete without visiting the iconic Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. On our visit here, be one with nature and absorb yourself in the serenity the place gives. Afterwards, the day will conclude with a journey to Gion, Kyoto's famous geisha and entertainment district. During our time here, experience the richness of traditional Japanese culture.

Day 07: Osaka Departure

Japan is full of experiences for everyone of any age to enjoy. Today, let your inner child out as we visit Universal Studios Japan. Immerse yourself in everything the theme park offers, from exhilarating rides to unique attractions—there are a lot of places for you to discover and enjoy at every turn.

After a fulfilling day, we will head to the airport and catch our flight back to Manila, capping off our memorable experience in Japan.

The one thing that I won’t forget on this trip is how Japan is uniquely magical for me from its rich traditions to its modern technology.

What I love the most about this trip is the food and how clean and well-disciplined the people living there are. I chose #TravelWithAccess because they give their clients the best trip possible. The staff is accommodating, especially Ms. Sunshine, who answered all my inquiries regarding our tour.

Everything was handled smoothly, from visa processing, airfare, transfers, accommodation, and the tour itinerary, and they provide excellent customer service even after the tour has ended. I would like to recommend Access to have more choices for domestic travel and an official receipt for future transactions.
