Day 1: Rovaniemi
Welcome to Lapland, Finland’s gateway to the Arctic. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Take the rest of the day to explore Rovaniemi’s cozy streets and cafés, your perfect introduction to life beyond the Arctic Circle.
Day 2: Rovaniemi
Start your winter adventure with a snowmobile safari across glittering river valleys and pine forests. In the afternoon, visit the Arktikum Museum, where interactive exhibits reveal Lapland’s culture, wildlife, and the mystery of the Northern Lights. Return to your hotel for dinner and a warm evening indoors.
Day 3: Rovaniemi
Visit a reindeer farm and husky kennel in Joulupukintie, where you’ll enjoy a husky sled ride and a peaceful reindeer sleigh journey through the snow. Warm up by the campfire, listening to stories from herders about life in the Arctic wilderness.
Day 4: Rovaniemi (Santa’s Village)
Visit the magical Santa Claus’ Village, a place where festive spirit lives year-round. Send postcards from the Arctic Circle post office and capture a moment with Santa himself. After dinner, venture out for a guided Aurora Borealis hunt with a chance to witness the northern sky ignite in color.
Day 5: Rovaniemi – Luosto – Levi
Journey north toward Levi, a serene ski resort surrounded by powdery slopes and frozen lakes. Check into your lodge and spend the evening chasing the Aurora once again. Take this chance, as every sighting is a unique display of magic.
Day 6: Levi
Enjoy the day at your pace. Experience what Levi has to offer: skiing or snowshoeing, then unwind in a Finnish sauna, the perfect balance of thrill and stillness while you’re in Finland! Tonight, go on a hunt for the northern lights once again.
Day 7: Levi – Kakslauttanen
Drive to Kakslauttanen, home to the iconic glass igloos. Settle into your private dome surrounded by snow-dusted forest, where you can gaze at the stars or the aurora from the warmth of your bed. Spend the day savoring the tranquility of this Arctic haven.
Day 8: Kakslauttanen
The day is yours to explore. Try a reindeer safari or ice fishing, or simply walk through the stillness of the snow. You may also partake in any activity the resort offers.
Day 9: Lapland
After breakfast, bid farewell to Finland’s frozen magic and transfer to the airport. Take a flight back home after a memorable excursion to Finland.

- Participation numbers will not affect the commencement of the trip. Should the minimum requirement for the Access Journeys not be met, our upcoming trip will proceed with the current number of participants. Access Travel will do its best to upgrade travelers to a private tour. However, rates for the private tour are not guaranteed to be the same as the original trip rates.
