Then, visit some of London's most famous landmarks, like Big Ben, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace. Finally, head to your hotel to check in. The rest of the day is yours to explore and do some shopping. Afterwards, have dinner and rest.
Explore Oxford University and its many colleges, including Trinity College as the first stop for today’s adventure! Then, heads up, Potterheads! After our visit to Oxford University, we will visit some of the places where the Harry Potter movies were filmed. Following that, off we go to Stratford-upon-Avon by way of the county's scenic countryside. Upon arrival, visit Anne Hathaway's cottage in Shottery before heading to Shakespeare's birthplace in Stratford. Afterwards, have a hearty dinner. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore at your leisure.
The full-day experience begins with an early drive to Liverpool. In this beautiful and iconic place, you will learn the popular Beatles’ story. The narrative traces the band’s exponential rise to fame and subsequent departure from Liverpool. On this adventure, you'll visit numerous iconic locations connected to The Beatles, such as their childhood homes, schools, places of birth, Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, and many more. This experience will give you an insight into the life and times of this all-time successful band.
After a fascinating stay in Liverpool, we're continuing on to Edinburgh by way of Glasgow. Along the way, we will make a stop to visit the magnificent Glasgow Cathedral, a medieval cathedral and the oldest cathedral in mainland Scotland. Then, continue on a short visit to Edinburgh. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest for the night.
The day is dedicated to a full-day guided sightseeing exploration of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city, which includes Princes Street, the Royal Mile, Holyrood House, and the new Scottish Parliament. After a visit to Edinburgh's imposing castle, wander around the city at your own pace and take in all its breathtaking sights.
After breakfast, the day will begin with a drive to York. Take in the beautiful scenery along the way. Then we'll stop for lunch in Newcastle upon Tyne, one of Britain's most recognizable and historically significant cities. Continue on the drive to York. There will be a walking experience of the city's historic streets, the cobbled Shambles, and the magnificent Minster waiting for you after you arrive.
The day kicks off with a drive from York to Cambridge. Before heading to London, take an afternoon walk through Cambridge. Here, discover the charming alleyways that surround Cambridge's historic market place and colleges. There are 31 constituent colleges and more than a hundred academic departments across six schools that make up the university. After the visit, continue on to London. When you arrive, have dinner and check into your hotel for the night.
Start your day with a drive to Stonehenge, the most well-known prehistoric monument in the world, which dates back nearly 5000 years. Then, head on to Bath, a lovely Georgian city with delightful crescents, terraces, and architecture, where you'll spend the afternoon. Here, immerse yourself in the ambiance while learning about life in Roman Britain and how relaxing it was to soak in the sacred waters after a long day working as a soldier.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, experience and see all of London from the top of the 135-meter (443-foot) London Eye observation wheel, also known as the London Eye or Millennium Wheel, on the banks of the River Thames. After your thrilling adventure, head to one of the UK's top tourist spots, Harry Potter's Warner Bros. Studios, to see authentic film memorabilia like costumes, sets, and props. The Studios is one of the largest production facilities in Europe, and it opened to the public on June 11, 2012.
After breakfast, you will be driven to Windsor Palace, the royal town. Enjoy the scenic view of Windsor, the embodiment of almost a millennium of architectural history, with its picturesque town, charming antique shops, and quaint bookstores lining its wonderful cobblestone streets. It's also the weekend residence of the Queen and features a massive medieval castle. Following your magnificent stop at Windsor, head to Bicester Outlet Shopping for low-priced designer brands such as Prada, Dior, Gucci, and more. After the journey, head back to London to cap off the day.
This day marks the end of our experience in England and Scotland. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and prepare to be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Manila.
