Day 01: Zurich
Welcome to Switzerland! Meet your local guide on arrival and transfer to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is for you to get acquainted with Zurich.
Day 02: Zurich
Explore Zurich's finest: Bahnhofstrasse shopping boulevard, the medieval Limmatquai Old Town, Lindenhof hill, St. Peter's Church (Europe's largest clock face), the opera house, and lake views. Visit ETH Zürich (Einstein's alma mater), admire the Chagall Windows at Fraumünster Church, then indulge at the Lindt Home of Chocolate.
Day 03: Zurich - Lucerne
Travel to Lucerne, set against snowcapped Alps on the shores of its glacier-fed lake. Visit the Lion Monument and the medieval Chapel Bridge, Europe's oldest wooden bridge, then enjoy a free afternoon in the city.
Day 04: Lucerne - Engelberg - Lucerne
Drive to Engelberg and ride the world's first revolving cable car, ROTAIR, to the summit of Mt. Titlis. Take in glacier views from the Cliff Walk (Europe's highest suspension bridge, weather permitting), explore the Ice Grotto, and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift. After that, proceed to the town proper of Lucerne for some shopping or free time to explore on your own.
Day 05: Lucerne - Bern - Interlaken
Morning in Bern. Explore the Federal Palace, famous clock tower, Bear Park, and Paul Klee Center. Continue to Interlaken for an afternoon stroll along the Hoheweg, with views of the Jungfrau and a wander through the peaceful Japanese Garden.
Day 06: Bern - Jungfraujoch - Interlaken
Experience a cogwheel train ride up to Jungfraujoch (3,454 m), the Top of Europe. Marvel at the Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observation Terrace and walk through the legendary Ice Palace inside the glacier itself.
Day 07: Interlaken - Tasch - Zermatt
Free morning in Interlaken, then afternoon transfer to Täsch and a train into the car-free alpine village of Zermatt. Check in and settle in for the night.
Day 08: Zermatt
Enjoy a cable car up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise for jaw-dropping views of the iconic Matterhorn (the "Toblerone Mountain"). Return to Zermatt's charming car-free village for a leisurely afternoon.
Day 09: Zermatt - Broc - Gruyeres - Geneva
Hop on a train to Täsch, then drive toward Geneva with stops at La Maison du Gruyère for cheese tasting and the hilltop medieval town of Gruyères. Continue to the Cailler Chocolate Museum to discover how Switzerland's finest chocolate is made before arriving in Geneva.
Day 10: Geneva - Vevey - Montreux - Geneva
Visit the stunning medieval Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva, stroll through Montreux, then sample local wines in the UNESCO-listed Lavaux vineyard terraces before returning to Geneva for the night.
Day 11: Geneva
After breakfast, enjoy your remaining free time before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
