Day 01: Lima
Welcome to Peru! Check in at your Miraflores hotel, then visit the Larco Museum, one of the world's premier collections of pre-Columbian art, followed by a private dinner on-site with a welcome pisco sour.
Day 02: Lima - Cusco
Fly to Cusco, then drive 2 hours into the Sacred Valley with stunning Andes views. Enjoy a colonial lunch with authentic Andean cuisine and a private museum, then meet renowned potter Pablo Seminario before checking into your hotel at 9,000 feet.
Day 03: Sacred Valley Of The Incas
Visit Ollantaytambo, one of the Sacred Valley's most impressive archaeological sites, then explore the Moray circular terraces, an Inca agricultural laboratory. Enjoy a gourmet Andean picnic with mountain lake views, then visit the iconic Maras salt ponds.
Day 04: Sacred Valley Of The Incas
Visit Chinchero (12,505 ft) to learn about Inca civilization, then hike down to 9,000 ft through lush waterfalls and ancient ruins. Enjoy a refreshing drink at the finish, followed by a luxury picnic and Peruvian wine.
Day 05: Machu Picchu
Board the scenic Vistadome train through the cloud forest to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Check in to Inkaterra, lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge, then explore the Lost City of the Incas with a magical late-afternoon sunset.
Day 06: Machu Picchu - Cusco
Early risers can join an optional sunrise excursion back to Machu Picchu. Free time in town before the train ride to Ollantaytambo and a private transfer to your hotel in downtown Cusco.
Day 07: Cusco
Acclimatize with a relaxed morning, then visit the impressive Inca fortress of Sacsayhuamán. Continue to an Alpaca Farm and Coricancha (the Sun Temple) for a relaxing midday in Cusco.
Day 08: Cusco - Southern Valley
Explore a remarkable pre-Inca archaeological site and a striking 16th-century colonial church south of Cusco, followed by a late-afternoon boxed-lunch picnic.
Day 09: Cusco
Visit the highland community of Viacha for an authentic taste of local traditions, costumes, and a traditionally prepared Andean lunch. Continue with a 2-hour soft Inca Trail hike to the Pisac Archaeological Site, with an optional visit to Pisac Market.
Day 10: Cusco Local Market Cooking Demo
Visit San Pedro Market with a local chef to select fresh ingredients, then return to cook your own Peruvian dishes with pisco sours in hand. In the afternoon, visit the Cathedral of Cusco.
Day 11: Cusco - Lima
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima and onward home.
