Day 01: Lima

Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival, meet and greet your local guide before being privately transported to the Downtown Lima Hotel Miraflores. Once you get settled, prepare for an afternoon excursion with our local expert to the Larco Museum, the largest and most important museum in the world. In the evening, have a hearty private dinner at the museum with pisco sour as your welcome drink. Afterwards, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02: Lima - Cusco

Begin the day with an early adventure to Cusco. Prepare for your early morning pickup before heading to the airport for your local flight. Upon arrival in Cusco, meet your local guide, who will accompany you on the 2-hour drive to the Sacred Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy the breathtaking view of the Andes. In the afternoon, enjoy a filling lunch at a colonial restaurant to enjoy their own private museum and authentic Andean cuisine. Then, head on to meet the world’s famous pottery maker, Pablo Seminario, before heading to your hotel located in the heart of the Sacred Valley at 9,000 feet for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Sacred Valley Of The Incas

Begin the day early as you take a drive to the Sacred Valley, going to Ollantaytambo, the most impressive archeological site, together with your local guide and its guided visit to get to know more about this amazing place. The next stop should be the Moray Circular Terraces, where you'll get an in-depth look at how the Incas used astronomy to improve crop yields. After that, relax with a gourmet Andean picnic in the center of the mountains while taking in the stunning lake views. Visit the Salt ponds thereafter and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 04: Soft Inca Trail Hike Sacred Valley

Get ready for a unique day of exploration as you hike the Inca Trail! Start off by taking a trip up to Chinchero, a town in the highlands located at an altitude of 12,505 feet, where you can learn all about the incredible Inca civilization. Hike down the slope to 9000 feet after exploring the archaeological site. Take in the breathtaking scenery, including lush waterfalls and ancient Inca structures. As a reward for completing the hike, a cold drink will be waiting for you at the trail's end. Then, enjoy a sumptuous luxury picnic serving dishes from throughout the world. Sip some local Peruvian wine for the rest of the afternoon before retiring to your hotel for the night.

Day 05: Machu Picchu

Today, explore the ancient Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. Begin with a drive to the train station before embarking on a Vistadome train heading to the town of Machu Picchu. As you make your way to the cloud forest, which is located at an elevation of between 9,000 and 7,000 feet, you may take in the breathtaking Andean panorama along the way. After arriving in town, check into the Inkaterra by Machu Picchu Pueblo, the most recommended hotel. Get on the shuttle bus and head to the Sanctuary Lodge, where you can eat lunch at a buffet to your heart’s content. Then, proceed to Machu Picchu to enjoy a late afternoon of exploration with an amazing sunset. After that, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06: Machu Picchu - Cusco

If you are an early riser, enjoy an optional excursion to Machu Picchu early in the morning today so you can enjoy the sunrise and capture the morning glory before heading back to the hotel to check out. Before leaving this beautiful town, you have some free time to explore the town at your own leisure before departing and taking a train ride back to Ollantaytambo station. Upon arrival, you will be privately transferred to the Cusco Hotel, the most recommended hotel in downtown Cusco.

Day 07: Cusco

This morning is ideal for taking it easy and acclimating to Cusco's high altitude. Sacsayhuaman, an Incan fortress and one of the world's most incredible structures, is the first stop on the journey. This day is also dedicated for you to explore Alpaca Farm and Coricancha the Sun Temple Coricancha at midday to enjoy and relax in Cusco.

Day 08: Cusco - Southern Valley

Visit the remarkable pre-Inca archeological site and the beautiful sixteenth-century church of America today as you explore the south of Cusco. After that, have a late-afternoon picnic with a boxed lunch before checking back into the hotel for the night.

Day 09: The Heart Of The Andes

Begin the day with an early morning drive to the highland community of Viacha. Here, enjoy their local traditions and costumes—you don’t want to miss them for an authentic Peruvian experience. Then, get to experience a lunch prepared traditionally, the Andean way for many centuries. Then, proceed to a 2-hour soft Inca Trail hike before arriving at the Pisac Archeological Site. You have the option to visit Pisac Market late in the afternoon before heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Cusco Local Market Cooking Demo

This day is dedicated to letting you explore the local market in San Pedro. Here, take in the sights of the surroundings, where you can also join the local vendors and purchase their produce together with the local, famous chef. Then, head back to the restaurant to start cooking your Peruvian food, along with a glass or two of Pisco Sour. Later in the afternoon, visit the Cathedral of America before going back to the hotel.

Day 11: Cusco - Lima

Today marks the end of your beautiful experience in the Wonders of Peru. Prepare for your transfer to the airport for your flight back to Lima.
