Day 01: Lima

Welcome to Lima! Meet your local guide on arrival and transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 02: Lima

Explore Lima's Miraflores and San Isidro districts, passing a pre-Inca huaca, then head to the Historic Center for colonial architecture and the Plaza de Armas. Visit the Convent of Santo Domingo before the Larco Museum, home to one of Peru's finest private collections of ancient artefacts.

Day 03: Cusco

Get up close, explore, and feel the history of Cusco known for the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Pedro Market, the Cathedral, and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, one of the most spectacular architectural complexes created during Inca times.

Day 04: Maras - Misminay - Moray

Start the day exploring the Maras salt mines. Along the way, stop at the Raqchi viewpoint for a glimpse of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Proceed to the Misminay community where they will greet you with music and traditional dances upon arrival. Learn the  lifestyle of the Andean families here by participating in some of their everyday activities. Sit down to a wonderful and traditional meal made using locally sourced ingredients. After that, head to Moray, a remarkable ancient site with concentric terraces that the Incas utilized as a botanical laboratory.

Day 05: Machu Picchu

Explore and visit one of the most important energy centers in the world: Machu Picchu. This journey will be shared with a professional local guide who will impart all the history that surrounds this mysterious place. Once the guided experience is over, the rest of the time is yours to explore the site on your own. Descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.

Day 06: Cusco

Explore Cusco at your pace. Vinicunca's Rainbow Mountain is not to be missed.

Day 07: Cusco - Puno

Bus through Cusco's southern valley with stops at the 17th-century Andahuaylillas Church, the Temple of Wiracocha ruins at Racchi, and the ancient military outpost of Puca-Pucara. Arrive in Puno for the night.

Day 08: Puno - Copacabana - Sun Island

Bus to Copacabana to visit the famous Virgen Morena and its church, then boat to the Island of the Sun. Traditional Aptapi meal on arrival, then explore before hiking to your lodge for the night.

Day 09: Sun Island - Moon Island - La Paz

Watch the sunrise over Lake Titicaca, then hike through Yumani visiting the Inca Stairs and the Fountain of Youth. Boat to the Island of the Moon and the Iak Uyu Temple ruins, then a scenic drive through the Andes Royal Range into La Paz

Day 10: La Paz

A local shoe-shiner guide leads you through La Paz's most colourful markets and neighbourhoods. Hop on the city's famous teleférico cable car network, browse the Fish, Flower, and Cholitas markets, then visit the legendary witches' market on Linares Street.

Day 11: La Paz

A free day to explore at your own pace. Don't miss the Valley of the Moon, named one of the 7 Wonder Cities of the World, nestled in a valley at the foot of the Andes.

Day 12: La Paz - Uyuni

Morning flight to Uyuni. Free time on arrival to explore the town at your leisure.

Day 13: Uyuni Salt Flats

Drive to the world's largest salt flats and stop at the atmospheric Train Cemetery with its 19th-century steam locomotive relics, see salt production at Colchani. Then explore Incahuasi (Fish Island) with its towering 10-metre cacti. End at the pre-Columbian fort of Pucara de Ayque.

Day 14: Uyuni - La Paz

After breakfast, watch the sunrise over the Uyuni Salt Flats for a truly otherworldly experience**. Enjoy the landscape full of peace, surrounded by water and salt. Afterwards, prepare for a transfer to the airport for your flight back to La Paz.
