Day 01: Baku
Welcome to Azerbaijan! Visit Upland Park for views of Baku Bay, the striking Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center (by architect Zaha Hadid), the Governor's Garden, and Eurovision's Crystal Hall. See the futuristic Flame Towers, then explore the Old City including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, Maiden Tower, caravanserais, mosques, and baths.
Day 02: Baku – Gobustan – Baku
Visit Gobustan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 6,000 ancient rock engravings, settlements, and burial grounds. See the 1267 Bibi-Heybat Mosque and the world's first mechanically drilled oil well (1846), then visit the Surakhani Tanker Museum on Caspian Sea history.
Day 03: Baku – Shamakha – Gabala – Shaki
Visit the Jumma Mosque in Shamakha, then Nij Village, home to the ancient Udi people and their unique language and faith. In Sheki, explore the frescoed Palace of Sheki Khans, historic caravanserais, fortress walls, and local artisan workshops.
Day 04: Sheki - Lagodekhi - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi
Cross into Georgia and visit Sighnaghi, a charming wine-country town. Explore the 4th-century Bodbe Monastery and St. Nino's Holy Spring, then enjoy a wine tasting at Khareba Winery. Continue to Tbilisi to visit the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Day 05: Tbilisi – Jvari – Ananiri – Stepantsminda – Gudauri
Visit the 6th-century Jvari Monastery overlooking the Kura River, then the 13th-century Ananuri Castle. Take a 4WD ride up to the Gergeti Trinity Church, Georgia's highest church at 2,200 m, beneath Mount Kazbek, with a stop at the Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument.
Day 06: Gudauri – Gori – Mtskheta - Tbilisi
Visit the Stalin Museum in his hometown of Gori, including his former residence and personal rail carriage. Explore Uplistsikhe, an ancient cave city carved into stone, before overnight in Gori.
Day 07: Borjomi – Tbilisi
Ride the cable car at Borjomi Park for sweeping views, then return to Tbilisi to explore the Old Town, the 4th-century Narikala Fortress, the 13th-century Metekhi Church, and a walk across the modern Peace Bridge.
Day 08: Tbilisi
A free day to explore Tbilisi at your own pace. Stroll Freedom Square and Rustaveli Avenue's historic buildings, shops, and cafés.
Day 09: Tbilisi
Another free day. Ride the Tbilisi Funicular for panoramic views, or stroll through the modern riverside Rike Park at your own pace.
Day 10: Tbilisi - Sadakhlo - Sevan Lake - Yerevan
Cross the border into Armenia via Sadakhlo. Lunch in Alaverdi, then visit Lake Sevan, one of the world's highest freshwater lakes, and the 9th-century Sevanavank Monastery. Arrive in Yerevan for a city tour including the Cascade Complex, Republic Square, and Yerevan Cathedral, plus the Vernissage open-air market.
Day 11: Yerevan - Garni - Echmiadzin - Yerevan
Visit Garni Temple, Armenia's only Greco-Roman building, then Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO site carved into rock. Continue to Etchmiadzin Cathedral, Armenia's first cathedral (4th century), and the 7th-century ruins of Zvartnots.
Day 12: Yerevan - Noravank - Khor Virap - Yerevan
Visit Noravank Monastery, set in a dramatic gorge along the Arpa River, then Khor Virap Monastery near the Turkish border with sweeping views of the Ararat Plain. Explore Dalma Market before returning to your hotel.
Day 13: Yerevan
A free day to explore Yerevan. Visit the Cascade's modern art installations and city views, then enjoy authentic Armenian cuisine at a local tavern.
Day 14: Yerevan
Free time for last-minute souvenir shopping before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
