Day 1: Sapporo
Arrive in Sapporo and enjoy a seamless private transfer to your hotel. Settle in, refresh, and ease into the city’s vibe before heading out for a visit at JR Tower Nikko Sapporo. In the evening, indulge in a Michelin dining experience at Mikuni Sapporo, where Hokkaido’s finest ingredients are showcased in a culinary artistry. End the night with a leisurely walk back to the hotel alongside your guide.
Day 2: Asahiyama Zoo & Winter Wildlife Adventure
Head north to Asahikawa for a day surrounded by winter magic. Your journey begins at the Asahiyama Zoo, one of Japan’s most beloved wildlife parks. Watch the famous penguin walk, held daily along snowy paths. After your time with the animals, visit the Asahikawa Ramen Village to savor the city’s signature soy-based ramen, a warm and flavorful local favorite. For those with extra time and curiosity, stop by the nearby Snow Crystal Museum, a beautifully designed space dedicated to the intricate beauty of snowflakes. Return to Sapporo in the evening and unwind at your hotel.
Day 3: Sapporo
Enjoy a free day to explore Sapporo at your own pace. For those seeking adventure, take an optional full-day ski experience, experiencing Hokkaido’s world-renowned powder snow.
Day 4: Otaru
Venture into the quaint port town of Otaru, known for its preserved charm and artisanal heritage. Savor a seafood-focused lunch at Hokkai Aburiyaki Otaru Canal, then explore the Otaru Music Box Museum and Kitaichi Glass Shop, both celebrated for their delicate craftsmanship. Continue to the Tenguyama Ropeway for its coastal views before heading back to Sapporo for a local buffet dinner at Stamina Taro Sapporo Teine.
Day 5: Sapporo
Start the day with a visit to Royce Cacao & Chocolate Town, home of Japan’s world-renowned chocolate. Indulge in a comforting Japanese hotpot lunch at Shabuyou Sapporo Tanukikoji, then take a leisurely stroll through Odori Park, pausing to capture Sapporo’s iconic landmarks: the TV Tower and Clock Tower. Spend your last moments in Sapporo by exploring Tanukikoji Shopping Street, where you can indulge in curated finds and local treats. After a day of easy wanderings, your private transfer will take you to the airport for departure.
