Day 1: Johannesburg
Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival, explore the vibrant city of Johannesburg, filled with modern energy and rich heritage. Visit landmarks that reveal the country’s cultural heartbeat before checking in to your hotel for a restful evening.
Day 2: Johannesburg
Continue discovering Johannesburg with a half-day guided visit of its art, architecture, and stories of resilience. The afternoon is yours: wander local markets, sample South African cuisine, or simply relax before your journey into the wild begins.
Day 3: Johannesburg – Hoedspruit – Kruger National Park
Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to your safari lodge on the edge of Kruger National Park. As the sun dips low, set out on your first game drive, where lions, elephants, and giraffes move freely and majestically. Return to camp for an authentic dinner under a starlit sky.
Day 4: Kruger National Park Safari
A full day of adventure in Kruger awaits. Traverse open grasslands and forested rivers in search of Africa’s “Big Five.” Feel the quiet thrill of seeing wildlife in its natural rhythm, then return to your lodge for a slow evening surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Day 5: Kruger National Park Safari
Rise early for a sunrise safari. The midday hours are free for rest, spa indulgence, or leisure. In the afternoon, hop on one last drive across the park as day turns to dusk.
Day 6: Kruger National Park Safari – Cape Town
Enjoy a final morning game drive before flying to Cape Town, a city framed by ocean and mountain. Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Spend the evening soaking in the city’s coastal charm.
Day 7: Cape Peninsula
Hop on a full-day journey around the Cape Peninsula, where the Atlantic meets the Indian Ocean. Visit Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope, and a penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Continue to Seal Island before ending the day atop Table Mountain, watching the city beneath you.
Day 8: Cape Town
Savor a day of refinement in the Cape Winelands. Wander through lush vineyards, taste award-winning wines, and enjoy a farm-to-table lunch at a scenic estate. It’s a day of flavors, textures, and quiet indulgence.
Day 9: Cape Town – Maldives
After breakfast, say goodbye to South Africa’s dramatic beauty and fly to the Maldives, trading savannah sunsets for turquoise waters.
Day 10: Maldives
Welcome to paradise! Arrive at your resort, where white sands and overwater villas await. Spend the day unwinding by the lagoon or soaking in the stillness of your island retreat.
Day 11: Maldives
This is a full day to live your island dream. Swim among coral gardens, lounge under palm trees, or sail across the crystal-clear waters. Every moment invites you to slow down and enjoy Maldives at its finest.
Day 12: Maldives
Enjoy one last morning in the Maldives, perhaps a sunrise swim or spa ritual, before your transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Access Travel will do its best to upgrade travelers to a private tour. However, rates for the private tour are not guaranteed to be the same as the original trip rates.
