Day 1: Rome 

Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Feel free to spend the rest of the day at leisure by wandering through cobblestone streets, sipping espresso at a corner café, or simply let the pace of the Eternal City set the tone for your journey.

Day 2: Rome

Begin your exploration of Rome, an open-air museum! Start at the Colosseum. Continue to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. In the afternoon, explore the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, ending at the breathtaking St. Peter’s Basilica, which is a masterpiece of faith and art.

Day 3: Rome – Florence

After breakfast, journey north to Florence, the heart of the Renaissance. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a leisurely afternoon strolling through Piazza della Signoria, where sculptures and street music bring the city’s energy to life.

Day 4: Florence

Immerse yourself in Florence’s artistic soul with visits to the Uffizi Gallery or Accademia, home to Michelangelo’s David. Savor lunch at Mercato Centrale, the city’s vibrant food hall, then cross the Ponte Vecchio and wander the artisan-filled Oltrarno district. End the day at Piazzale Michelangelo, watching the sunset paint the city in gold.

Day 5: Florence – Castelfalfi

Leave the bustle behind as you travel into Tuscany’s countryside. Check in at your serene resort in Castelfalfi, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. The rest of the day is free to unwind and enjoy the quiet pace of rural Italy.

Day 6: San Gimignano – Volterra 

Set out on a day trip through Tuscany’s medieval gems. Walk through the towered skyline of San Gimignano, taste its world-famous gelato, and enjoy a leisurely vineyard lunch with a glass of Chianti. Continue to Volterra, where Roman ruins and artisan shops blend into ancient stone walls, before returning to Castelfalfi.

Day 7: Castelfalfi 

A day for slow traveling at your pace. Enjoy the resort’s spa, join a yoga session among the hills, or take an optional Tuscan cooking class to learn the secrets behind Italy’s cuisine.

Day 8: Castelfalfi – Bologna – Milan

Drive through the Chianti hills, stopping at a vineyard for wine tasting and a relaxed countryside lunch. Continue toward Bologna, famed for its porticos and hearty cuisine, before reaching Milan. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy an evening stroll through Italy’s style capital.

Day 9: Milan

Spend the day at your own pace: shop at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, visit Duomo di Milano, or simply enjoy a long, unhurried Italian lunch before your farewell evening.

After breakfast, prepare for your transfer to the airport for your flight back home after a trip to Italy.

  • Rates and hotel availability are subject to change until confirmation, especially during peak travel periods.
  • Prices are based on peak season (Christmas season) rates. Rates may vary depending on the travel month and hotel availability.
